Privacy note for the Tad test app

The test version of Tad that testers install through Apple’s TestFlight. The website and the waitlist have their own privacy policy.

Tad keeps your jobs and steps on your iPhone. There is no account and no server. We can’t see your jobs unless you send them to us.

In this test version, step ideas come from a built-in list on your phone, not AI. You can change every step.

Delete everything (in Settings) removes all Tad data from this phone. Deleting the app does too. A copy can stay in an older iPhone or iCloud backup you made, which Tad can’t reach.

The email address you signed up with, so Apple can send you the invite. Apple’s TestFlight shows us basic usage and crash information, like how often Tad was opened. It also passes on any feedback or screenshots you choose to send through TestFlight.

Share my numbers sends counts and your answers only, never your jobs or steps. It goes as a message from your own email or phone, so we can see who sent it. Please leave health details out of feedback, notes and screenshots.

Inviting you is a step you asked for when you said you wanted to test (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Numbers, notes and feedback reach us only when you choose to send them (your consent, Art. 6(1)(a)). We use them only to decide how to build Tad.

Your tester entry in TestFlight stays until 30 days after the test ends, unless you join the released app with the half-price plan we promised testers. Shared numbers and emails you send us are deleted 14 days after we have written up the test. That write-up keeps counts per tester under a label like “Tester A”, never your email.

Apple runs TestFlight under its own terms and privacy policy. Emails you send us arrive in our mailbox at hello@vertostudios.com. Nothing from the app goes anywhere else.

Tad is an everyday task tool. It is not medical help and does not diagnose or treat ADHD.

You may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, withdraw your consent, or receive a copy. Email hello@vertostudios.com and we will act within 30 days. You may also complain to Datatilsynet, the Danish data protection authority.
