Every finished job leaves a keepsake
Each keepsake carries the name of the job and the day you finished it. A to-do list shows what you haven't done. The pond shows what you have.

Tell Tad the job. It shows you one tiny step at a time on your lock screen. Each step you finish helps Tad grow, and each finished job adds a keepsake to its pond.

How it works
You hand Tad a job you keep avoiding. Tad hands it back one tiny step at a time, on your lock screen.

Tell
“Clean the kitchen.” “Do my taxes.” Type it or say it, as big and vague as you like.

Tad suggests tiny steps from its built-in list, and you can change every one. Your lock screen shows only the first.
Put one cup in the sink.Grow
Tap Done right on the lock screen, once Face ID has unlocked your phone. No need to open the app. Glow is what Tad grows on, and the next step waits until you're ready.

Give Tad one job you're avoiding. It suggests the next tiny step. Finish the job, and a reminder of it stays in your pond.

Glow
A tiny step earns the same glow as a big one, so asking for a smaller step never costs you. Glow only goes up.

Growing up
Tad starts as a hatchling. As glow adds up it gets bigger, grows legs and sprouts a leaf.
Rest
Glow carries over. There are no streaks. Tad never gets sick, sad or hungry, and if you disappear for a week it has simply been asleep.

Yes, on iPhone. There is a free test through Apple's TestFlight app, with room for 25 testers. Tap Join the free test, install TestFlight if your phone asks, then install Tad. If the test is full, or you don't have an iPhone, join the waitlist instead.
Nothing bad. Tad sleeps and the pond stays exactly as you left it. There are no streaks to lose and nothing to make up.
In this test version, step ideas come from a built-in list on your phone, not AI. You can change every step. Your lock screen shows only one at a time.
Finch is a full self-care app: daily goals, journaling, breathing exercises, friends, and a bird that goes on adventures. Tad is much narrower. You give it one job you are avoiding, it suggests the next tiny step, and when the job is finished a lantern with its name stays on your pond.
Tad keeps your jobs and steps on your iPhone. There is no account and no server. We can't see your jobs unless you send them to us. Apple's TestFlight shows us basic usage and crash information, like how often Tad was opened. Read the test app's privacy note
No. Tad is an everyday task tool. It is not medical help and does not diagnose or treat ADHD.
The test is free. The App Store price is not decided yet. The waitlist asks one hypothetical price question, and nothing is charged. No ads and no selling your data either way.
iPhone only for now. Tap Done on your lock screen once Face ID has unlocked your phone. You don't need to open the app. Android would come later if the iPhone version works.
